I bloody hate Powerpoint. It was the weakest of the slide-generating softwares at the start of the computer revolution. It only ‘won’ because Microsoft bundled it. A complete piece of garbage. Whoever makes the UI choices should be locked in a room being forced to produce for all those people who bang their heads against these ‘features’ daily. You cannot edit lines anymore, you have to create them using the ‘freeform’ tool - the icon of which shows creating a freeform SHAPE!

Just as I say those who write professionally should never edit their own work, those who program should never make assumptions about users. Let users rip your work. It’ll be all the better for it.
