Personal Improvement: Fitness check-in.

I swear, no juicing, no test injections, just four sets of intense repetitions of moderate weights, specific targeting exercise, done to full contraction each rep.

I'm also using this cheap gadget to burn off calories during my workday: A “Sunny Row-n-Ride”. Never liked the thing - felt it was too annoying to use consistently - but over the last week, have used it heavily to good effect.

I feel like all my years of exercise, all the observations I’ve made, are finally paying off when I need them most. I thought I peaked at 36 - joyously realizing ‘apparently not’! Such fitness always presages new adventures. I’ll be slowing on the bulk-up now. “Just useful strength.” Enough to wrangle about 50 pounds of camera gear regularly. Feels good!
