Of interest, after that last flurry of antidepressant-effectiveness articles in the news. From my perspective, these are not vitamins, but pills to be used in conjunction with talk therapy. Short duration, not lifetime deficit-fillers.

I remember too well the '90's, when we had serious discussions of whether salespeople (corporate) should be taking Prozac (whether they needed it or not). Because the mood brightening effect gave the benefit to the ones who 'used'.

Big Pharma loves that sort of thing.
