Personal Improvement: Focusing energies.

I wanted to say, for those of you who follow me on other social channels, please don’t feel obligated to like everything I post everywhere. I had been focusing all my energies towards one particular goal at the end of last year, and that goal didn’t come to fruition. A part of me still hopes. Anyways, I have had time to restore my core, and am now trying to push that energy on social channels (as well as on other unseen goals), to see what actually benefits myself or my skillsets. Some have had particular success on LinkedIn, which I’ve consistently ignored. I’m trying to break it now (heh) by not being a stereotypical talking corporate head. I’ll probably be guillotined.

Speaking of energies, I am having a ‘karmic debt’ day. Karma has been kind of late, but I feel the need to pay some things forward. So I’m letting some young Native artists use some of my professional equipment to further their skills.

Please see where you can do this kind of thing, also.

The world we live in, is the world we create.

Paris Review: Backyard Bird Diary. Always wanted to create one of these kinds of diaries. Been a long time since I’ve sketched. I should buy some colored pencils.

Luminous Landscape: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Sensor Fab: Pt 1.

“We’ve been hearing that a 100 MP full-frame sensor is about a year away since at least 2020, and as of this writing, I think it’s STILL about a year away (late 2024 or early 2025 at the earliest, with real availability probably in 2025). It may STILL be a year away at this time next year.

Smashing Mag: Web Development Is Getting Too Complex, And It May Be Our Fault.

Worth the read! Much of my work these days is using and training people in Wordpress drag-and-drop themes! The stacks - and really useful CMSs - are too complex, unless you’re making dead-tree sites (at my clients’ price point).
